Gold Country

While we're on the topic of gold country and my family, I thought I'd talk a bit about my grandfather. He was El Dorado County Assessor for, I think, sixteen years. Here's a picture of my grandpa, his wife, and my son.

As you can tell, my grandpa is a cowboy. He raises Paints. As he said to me, they have "California and Texas quality at Oregon prices."

Their website is a work in progress, as you can see. Their horses, however, are absolutely beautiful.
